Willem II - sc Heerenveen: 2-2
Willem II and Heerenveen shared the spoils after an entertaining affair in Tilburg.
The hosts had the upper hand in a rather quiet first half and finally took the lead after an hour's play, with Uriel van Aalst scoring his first league goal for the Tilburg side. Heerenveen stars Jacob Trenskow and Oliver Braude, both of whom are linked to transfers ahead of the next week's deadline day, combined to give Heerenveen the lead with just over 10 minutes to go.
Striker Devin Haen saved a point for Willem II - their first this season - with a goal in the 83rd minute.
Cambuur - FC Twente: 1-4
Cambuur were left pointless again after another painful defeat, this time at the hands of FC Twente.
Barcelona target Ruud Nijstad beautifully opened the scoring with a rocket from distance, after which Wout Weghorst quickly doubled the lead for the visitors. A sensational assist from Sondre Orjasaeter, who nutmegged his defender and scooped a delightful cross to the back post, set up Marko Pjaca for the 3-0 shortly after half-time.
Younes Taha completed the embarrassment for Cambuur, who saved a bit of face with an 88th-minute goal but were ultimately left for dead at the bottom of the league table after a 4-1 home loss.
